Resonant back and sides crafted from sapele deliver rich tone that’s great for strumming and fingerstyle while the Artist 30CE’s crown gem is a solid wood top built from Sitka spruce that rivals the sound quality of much pricier acoustics. Musiekwereld players love the Artist 30CE’s sound, but especially appreciate its comfortable feel and durable hardware. Paired with that is a true Sitka spruce top complete with a premium semi-gloss finish. Sitka spruce is the guitar world’s premium standard for acoustic guitars; it’s known to enhance everything from tone quality to volume and projection, and also responds well to player dynamics. Plus, the sound chamber also features additional sound bracing crafted from spruce for a precision balance of tone. The Artist 30CE is comfortable from the neck down with design features that enhance your playing and ability to lean-in to learning. Comfort is a key factor that speeds up learning and keeps us entertained, and that’s why the Artist 30CE features a premium neck crafted from hardwood mahogany. Not only is mahogany a favored tonewood in the acoustic world, but this neck is also further enhanced with a hybrid soft “V” to “C” shape. Alvarez carefully developed this blended neck profile that gives you ideal anchor space in any position. Toward the headstock, the “V” shape yields a better grip for 6-string open and barre chords; further up, the “C” shape gives hands more room for expression and thinking outside the box.

With built-in Alvarez SYS250 electronics, the Artist 30CE is always ready for a gig or a recording. The powerful SYS250 preamp offers straightforward acoustic amplification with a host of added features for tweaking sound to perfection. There’s a 3-band EQ for tweaking bass, mids, and treble frequency, a built-in backlit tuner, a volume knob, and a presence slider for fine-tuning the punch of your plugged in tone.
