Meinl Percussion’s Headliner Wood Bongos are a great choice for anyone getting up and running with their bongo playing. At Musiekwereld, we love partnering with environmentally conscious companies. We were glad to learn that Meinl uses sustainable rubberwood (harvested after the trees are no longer producing latex) to make these 6.75″ macho (male) and 8″ hembra (female) shells that resonate musically and project well.

These bongos feature natural buffalo drumheads, and tuning and servicing them is easy, thanks to their 8mm tuning lugs and included tuning key. The Headliner Series Bongo drums are a wonderful way to get into serious bongo percussion.
