The Sigma DME Electro Acoustic, Natural offers a solid top, a classic yet versatile acoustic sound combined with on-board Sigma electronics and a mighty dreadnought body. With a solid sitka spruce top and mahogany body, the DME yields a crisp and articulate tone, and delivers a broad dynamic range with a rich, full and resonant warmth, providing players with a versatile acoustic voice that is able to accommodate numerous genres and techniques with equal ease. For added sonic-character, the Sigma’s real bone nut provides added resonance and sustain to the guitar’s overall sound, and also enables the guitar to stay in tune for longer periods of time. Furthermore, with a D-14 fret body, the DME has superb volume and projection, and is well suited to rock, pop, country and blues, accommodating both heavy, meaty chords to fingerpicking techniques as well as a player’s individual playing style. If this isn’t enough, the Sigma DME comes equipped with a Sigma preamp and built-in tuner, perfect for live and rehearsal environments.

Solid Sitka Spruce & Mahogany Construction                                                                                                The Sigma DME features a solid sitka spruce top, producing a versatile sound that yields a crisp and articulate tone, as well as producing a broad dynamic range which is what gives sitka spruce such a versatile sonic-nature. In addition, its solid top also delivers focused, clear sound of deep lows, warm mid-range, and bright singing highs. Sitka’s versatile nature enables it to accommodate many different genres and playing styles, from lighter fingerpicking styles, to heavier more aggressive strumming patterns. Its solid sitka spruce top is attached to mahogany back and sides, adding resonance and warmth to the guitar’s sonic-character. The Sigma’s mahogany back and sides also deliver a meaty mid-range, producing punchy, woody tones with plenty of depth and complexity that will please most playing styles.

D-14 Fret Body                                                                                                                                                    With a D-14 fret body, part of the dreadnought family, players are certain to benefit from its rich, full-bodied, and commanding voice. The DME’s D-14 fret body offers superb volume and projection whilst maintaining overall tonal balance, perfect for a wide range of genres. Its big body blended with its solid sitka spruce top and mahogany construction gives the DME a powerful response with plenty of resonance and sustain. The tone produced is able to accommodate numerous genres and playing styles with ease, from rock, pop, indie, folk and country. Furthermore, the big and bold dreadnought body offers a comfortable playing experience, although it is better-suited to players more comfortable with bigger-bodied guitars, and those with a longer reach.

Built-In Sigma Preamp & Tuner                                                                                                                        Equipped with a Sigma preamp system, the DME will feel right at home on stage or in the studio, perfect for the gigging guitarist. The built-in Sigma preamp features slide controls for bass, middle, and treble with a rotary control for volume, enabling players to add a little extra sonic-character to their amplified tone. Furthermore, the preamp also has a built-in tuner, providing quick, precise and easy tuning on the go, whether performing acoustically or amplified.

Mahogany Neck & Micarta Fingerboard                                                                                                  Constructed from mahogany, the Sigma’s neck delivers a resonant rich warmth that responds superbly to many different playing styles with equal ease. Additionally, the neck has a low profile shape for added comfort and a better grip in each position up and down the neck. Furthermore, the neck is topped with a micarta fingerboard which offers a smooth playing experience whilst adding sonically pleasing tones to the guitar’s overall sound.

Real Bone Nut                                                                                                                                                    The DME features a real bone nut, which offers excellent resonance and sustain, along with an authentic appearance. A bone nut also delivers a very balanced tone, and will last a long time. In addition, this type of nut naturally self lubricates and helps you stay in tune for longer.
