Moreover, these kits feature 26 built-in samples that can be added to your custom kits, offering a whole new level of percussion personalization. From metal blast beats to EDM grooves to dry recording kits, the TD-17 is loaded with versatile sounds for any genre, and you can even upload your own sounds as WAV files via SD/HC card to craft the kit of your dreams. Moreover, each and every sound can be fine-tuned with the TD-17’s impressive processing and effects engine with snare tension, compression, EQ, reverb, and many more sonic sculpting tools.

Bluetooth MIDI and song streaming

The TD-17’s built-in Bluetooth transceiver is sure to elevate your practice and recording sessions. Music can be streamed directly from your device to the module, allowing you to practice with your favorite grooves and fills. Plus, if you’re in a creative mood, the TD-17’s Bluetooth functionality can also send your beats wirelessly as MIDI notes, capturing your inspiration for later. PDX-12 snare pad

This kit’s wide assortment of pads starts off with the PDX-12, a 12-inch dual-trigger snare pad that boasts an incredibly realistic feel and response. The 12-inch size offers an easy transition for players migrating from a kit-size snare. Plus, a tunable 2-ply head allows you to dial in your preferred level of rebound, from a solid, tight bounce to a loose wallop. For the uninitiated, switching from a traditional snare to a pad can feel like a compromise, but the PDX-12 truly captures the natural feel of an acoustic snare.

KD-10 kick pad

Looking for a kick pad with the feedback of a traditional acoustic head? The tower-style KD-10 kick pad delivers exceptionally organic playability, capturing every nuance of your playing dynamics. A combination of a rock-solid frame and anchoring spurs keep the KD-10 firmly in place, allowing you to stomp out even the most aggressive of double-bass blast beats with impunity.

VH-10 hi-hat

Mount this advanced 10-inch hi-hat pad to your favorite hi-hat stand (not included) using the included clutch and trigger base, and the VH-10 rewards you with realistic pumps, splashes, and closed-to-open contrast. Its dual-trigger system is able to capture nuances that many other electric drum kits miss. And its textured playing surface reduces acoustic volume to keep practice and performances quiet.

What else is included?

• PDX-8 toms (x3): Roland’s V-Toms sport a dual-trigger design for a nuanced response that captures your strikes across both the head and rim. Plus, the head and rim can be configured in the TD-17 to produce any type of sound you require, allowing for creative custom setups!
• CY-12C-T (x2) and CY-14R-T cymbals: This generation of Roland V-Drums features a thinner, more sensitive CY-14R-T ride cymbal and two CY-12C-T crash cymbals. In addition to their new low profile, both of these cymbals offer a choke control that functions just like a traditional cymbal — just grab the edge! The CY-12C-T crash sports a trigger point on both the bow and edge, while the CY-14R-T ride is designed with 3-way independent triggering on the bow, edge, and bell for a wide variety of configuration options.

Keep your setup solid

This set comes equipped with Roland’s rock-solid MDS-compact drum stand to rig up your set safely and securely. It’s a favorite stand among Musiekwereld percussionists for its sheer durability, but the included boom arms and easy-positioning mounts for the toms/snare certainly don’t hurt either! Non-slip rubber feet keep the MDS-Compact rooted firmly to the ground, allowing you to go all-out without fear of your set slipping and shifting around. A multi-pin trigger harness, module mount, power supply, and smartphone tray complete the MDS-Compact, providing an incredible level of utility and reliability.
